a nude painting of myself, this piece explores color healing, woman empowerment, and a perspective of being on the outside looking in. As the light touches the world around us, colors are being absorbed and reflected, nourishing our health and energy levels to complete emotional and physical harmony. We must allow sunlight in to heal our body as well as allow complete darkness for our hormones. Being aware of what stimuli you are receiving can empower yourself to create balance, healing and harmony to your mind, body and soul. These colors resemble the rainbow of emotions we feel, cope with and reflect on. I painted myself naked to embrace the power of a woman’s body while also shining light on woman not just being a sex symbol. We constantly deal with getting harassed and disrespected, sometimes to the point where I don’t even want to outside or the store. What about paying attention to what’s inside their heart and soul and the power they have to create. Speaking on this matter for anyone who has been sexually victimized or violated. you are so powerful and a walking work of art
